For A Smaller Crowd, Try Easy Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

If you are only cooking for a few people this Thanksgiving, what’s your turkey plan?  Save money and hassle with this easy-to-prepare slow cooker turkey breast.

As families are spread further and further apart, huge gatherings are not as common as they used to be.  If your Thanksgiving is going to be a little more intimate, why not make things easier on yourself?  This year, you can avoid the stress and waste of a giant turkey by opting to go for a turkey breast instead.  We did this last year and we ended up with a perfectly sized, seasoned and moist bird.

Plain Chicken not only recommends the breast option, but she swears by the slow cooker method of preparation.  She keeps it low and slow for several hours and then crisps up the skin under a broiler right before serving.  Given all the moving parts involved in preparing this huge meal, this sounds like a great way to make things just a little easier!
