Kitchen Items Clean Stubborn Toilet Stains Without Scrubbing

Do you have stubborn toilet stains that regular cleaning products just can’t fight?  Clean toilets without scrubbing using just a couple of household kitchen items and some patience.

Chances are that your toilets are not quite as dirty as those in the picture below.  However, if you are moving into an older, fixer-upper, you may have something similar to the photo below to conquer.  Even milder stains can often still be quite difficult to completely remove.

You never want to be the house with the dirty toilets. There’s nothing worse than having someone ask to use your bathroom and knowing that there is a ring around the toilet. Previous owners and years or use can cause toilets to look rough. But we don’t have to live like this anymore.

If this is your dilemma, try this simple solution from Frugally Blonde.  After draining the toilet water, she recommends simply soaking paper towels in vinegar and applying the towels to the stains.  The trick is to let them sit.  After a while, you should have sparkling clean commodes that any homeowner would be proud of.  No more embarrassment or blocking off an entire bathroom. I sure wish I had known this trick when I moved into my house. It definitely would’ve been a lot easier than all the scrubbing that I did! Vinegar to the rescue…again!

The only supplies you need to clean toilets without scrubbing:

  • rubber gloves
  • paper towels
  • vinegar
