This Celery Just Made The CUTEST Stationery. And Yes, You Heard That Right!

There nothing I love more than a beautiful hand-made card. But that always takes so much energy right? WRONG! With this clever trick all you need is celery and paint to make gorgeous stationery.

We found this bit of genius on Maureen Cracknell’s blog and just knew we had to share it! So, to get started all you need is; one bunch of celery, a bit of pain or an ink pad, paper, and a knife.

Take your bunch of celery and cut the stem off about 3 inches from the very bottom were the stalks all come together. It’ll look something like this…

celery 1

Feel free to wiggle the pieces around to help spread them out if the stalks are too tight together. Maureen also recommends trying a leafy lettuce for a more delicate rose.

Then all you have to do is dab your ‘rose’  in some paint or press it into an ink pad and stamp away! And just look how sweet they turn out.

This could not be easier or cuter and all your friends and family will be so impressed with your hand-painted cards!
