DIY Marble Run For The Budding Little Engineer In Your Family

Your Child Can Use Common Household Items To Make A Killer Marble Run!

Do you have a little maker in your midst?  With just a few household basics, they can create an amazing DIY Marble Run for hours of engineering enjoyment!

The best toys are those that allow a child to create before they play.  This can lead to the development of skills in math, engineering, physics and hours of just plain fun!  If you have a child in your life who loves to create, this is a great way to get them designing, problem solving and playing…with no video games in sight!  Simply spend some time gathering the basic materials and let their ingenuity take it from there.  The folks at Frugal Fun For Boys And Girls suggest starting with an over-sized oil pan and then improvising with rubber tubing, PVC pipe and craft sticks.  Use magnets and glue to adhere the run tracks to the pan.  The instructions that they provide give great tips for making everything work properly.

Just an FYI, these oil pans are a fantastic base for all kinds of projects, from a giant magnetic chalkboard to a desk organization station.  Simply Pinterest search Oil Pan Magnet Board and all kinds of amazing ideas will pop up!
