Baked Bang Bang Chicken Tastes Like Your Shrimp Favorite!

What’s a visit to Bonefish Grill without a serving of spicy Bang Bang Shrimp?  Baked Bang Bang Chicken recreates that fave recipe, but without the frying!

If you are seafood lover, you may have visited Bonefish Grill and sampled their signature dish.  It’s become a favorite of shrimp lovers for its crispy coating and spicy sauce.

Here’s a way to recreate that dish at home, using chicken as the protein and baking instead of frying.

If you do like shrimp, try doing half shrimp and half chicken for a little dinnertime variety and a ton of flavor!

 

Here’s what you’ll need to make Baked Bang Bang Chicken:

FOR THE SAUCE:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

FOR THE EGG MIXTURE:

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk

FOR THE BREADING:

  • 1 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
