Instant Cowgirl Fashion With This Simple Bandana Dress DIY

Do you have a dress-loving young lady in your midst? Whip up this simple and adorable bandana dress and, in no time, she’ll be the cutest cowgirl on the ranch!

Bandanas might be one of America’s greatest inventions.  Ok, that might be overstating it a bit, but they really are handy little things.  Even better, they come in a multitude of colors, allowing for coordination with pretty much any scheme.  Here’s a classic how-to for turning a standard bandana into a cute-as-button child’s dress or top.

Daisy Janie shows you the step by step with her easy pictorial.  If your child or grandchild is very young, simply make the arm holes smaller and it is a dress.  If she’s a little older, probably up to a size 10 or so, make the arm holes bigger and it’s a top.  This would also be a great project to teach a young one how to sew.  Imagine her delight when she gets to wear a dress that she made herself!
