The directions are SO simple and from start to finish takes no time at all.

Here’s what you’ll need:

(1) Box of Perler Beads

(1) package of 1 mm Stretch Magic Bead / Jewelry Cord

(6) small bowls (glass or paper) to sort bead in

(1) Cookie sheet lined with parchment paper

Step 1: Separate beads into 6 bowls…black, red, white, blue, green, yellow

Step 2: Place beads “standing” on cookie sheet; you’ll need some space between them (but not much) as they will melt down just a bit. Oven at 350 degrees – bake for about 7 minutes.

**They should begin to look like this! 🙂  And you might want to open a window or turn on a fan because you will smell the melting plastic that tends to linger.

Step 3: Before you begin ‘building’ the bracelets, measure your child’s wrist for an indication of how long your thread should be. *Be sure to add about 1 inch to either end of your measurement. And before you begin threading, tie a knot on one end (or even a double knot) to ensure the beads won’t roll off.

Step 4: The kids can now begin to slide the beads on in order: black, red, white, blue, green, yellow.

Step 5: And repeat until the bracelet is full! (tie ends together to complete your look!)
