Biblical St. Patrick’s Day Crafts. So Fun & So Easy!

When most people think of St. Patrick’s Day, they envision leprechauns and green food dye in EVERYTHING! Well, here’s some refreshing news on just what the holiday is REALLY all about. There once was a boy, (you guessed it) named Patrick. Keep reading for who he was and some really great crafts you can make with and for your children as you teach them about St. Patrick.

Patrick was raised in a Christian family. Both his Dad and Granddad were leaders in the church. And when Patrick was very young, he was kidnapped. And while in captivity, he prayed to God and sensed God was encouraging him to escape and return home telling everyone about God.

It’s believed that (now) St. Patrick would use the 3-leaf clover to help explain the Trinity to anyone who would listen.

And, as Matthew 18:3 teaches us, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

See below for (3) adorable, kid-friendly crafts and a video from Veggie Tales to teach you, your children and your grandchildren about St. Patrick and his faith in God.
