When She Told Her Kids NOT To Seek Extraordinary Lives, I Was STUNNED!

As a parent, I struggle as to what to teach my kids and this simple thought from a page out of the book “That Parent’s Tao Te Ching” written by William Martin was worth sharing. Our kids are being raised in such a chaotic and hectic world maybe (just maybe) seeking ‘ordinary’ could be way to slow things down a bit.

The author, William Martin, challenges parents in Chapter 35 to teach them how to live ‘ordinary’ lives versus striving for the ‘extraordinary.’

Maybe we can all take something from Martin’s thoughts. Slowing down long enough to smell the roses and fully enjoy life, would be a good place to start!
